VSF Belgium's work is respected at a national and international level. This recognition is reflected in a number of prizes and nominations awarded to our organisation, of which we are very proud.

Prizes

2007
  • Winner of the Walloon Prize for Quality. This prize was created by the Walloon authorities, who have entrusted the direction of the prize to the 'Walloon Movement for Quality.
  • The Alphabetisation prize, awarded by the 8th September Fund of the King Baldwin Foundation.
2002
  • Winner of the Armand Feron prize, awarded by the IMT on behalf of the Feron family. The prize is awarded every two years to a nominee who has made a significant contribution to rural development.
1998
  • Veterinary Film Festival prize in Saragossa in Spain with the film ‘As long as there will be cows’, a documentary about Dinka breeders in Southern Sudan.
1996
  • First prize from the Prince Laurent Foundation.
